Metal KD sliding fire doors are a high-quality product that is manufactured in accordance with the highest quality standards. The doors are easy to install and safe to use. They are characterised by elegant smooth lines.
The surface of KD sliding fire doors is protected by a layer of powder coating selected according to the customer's wishes. The basic selection of coating colours is based on the RAL colour chart.

KD automatic sliding fire doors are intended for installation at the boundaries of fire sections, as well as for installation on escape routes.
They are suitable for:

The purpose of a fire door is to prevent a fire spreading from one section to another, and to enable the safe evacuation of people from the building.
Determining the classification of fire doors:
- Integrity (E): the ability of an element to prevent the passage of flames or hot gasses. When the element is exposed to fire, cracks or openings should not appear.
- Insulation (I): the ability of an element to prevent the excessive transmittance of heat by conduction. Elements must be manufactured from materials that are thermal insulators.
- Insulation (I2): average increase in temperature is 140 °C or less; maximum increase in temperature on leaf is 180 °C or less; maximum increase in temperature on frame is 360 °C or less.
- Time in minutes (30, 60), representing the time the criteria are fulfilled during the fire resistance test in accordance with the curve of a standard fire.
All KD SD door models can be upgraded with radiation protection.
RADIATION PROTECTION:
All KD SD door models can be fitted with a lead coating of an appropriate thickness, depending on the required radiation protection. KD SD00 doors can also be fitted with glass of an equivalent radiation protection. Automatic sliding fire doors in which EI130 and EI260 fire glass has been fitted cannot be fitted with radiation protection.
