KD ELEGANCE 30 doors are metal fire doors with a thickness of 68 mm and an EI₂30 classification.

KD ELEGANCE 60 doors are metal fire doors with a thickness of 68 mm and an EI₂60 classification. 

Fire doors are intended for installation at the boundaries of fire and/or smoke control sections, as well as for installation on escape routes. They are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. They are installed in walls which must have an appropriate fire classification and must be properly prepared. The doors are manufactured from materials which have characteristics for good thermal insulation and moisture resistance. The doors are equipped with three-part INOX hinges with adjustable height, width, and depth. Fire doors must be equipped with door closers, which ensure that the doors are closed in the case of fire. Fire doors that are opened occasionally and are installed in rooms which may only be accessed by authorised persons, and which are intended for the inspection and servicing of equipment, may be installed without door closers, but they must be labelled with the words “FIRE DOOR, KEEP SHUT!”. 

The basic versions of the KD ELEGANCE 30 and KD ELEGANCE 60 doors are smooth with a powder coating colour from the RAL colour chart.

STANDARD EQUIPMENT:

• cylinder lock,
• INOX handle on both sides,
• adjustable striking plate for lock,
• 2 three-part INOX hinges*,
• 2 x safety bolt**,
• door closer,
• silicone seal.

*The number of hinges is determined by the size and weight of the door.

**The number of bolts is determined by the height of the door.

UPGRADING DOORS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THEIR INTENDED USE

KD PREMIUM 30 and KD PREMIUM 60 metal fire doors can be equipped with fire glass in the leaf and/or fanlight. The largest possible area of glass in the leaf is 30% of the door leaf area. KD PREMIUM 30 and KD PREMIUM 60 single-leaf and double-leaf doors can be manufactured with a fanlight, provided the total maximum height of the frame is 3500 mm. Instead of a windowpane a panel with the same composition as the door leaf may be fitted in the fanlight.

KD PREMIUM 30 and KD PREMIUM 60 fire doors can be equipped with radiation protection. However, such doors cannot have any glass fitted in them.
